Luxury car maker Aston Martin gets personal as special division showcases latest bespoke cars.
A new collection of customised commissions created by the British icon’s ‘Q by Aston Martin’ division will go on show at the Pebble Beach Automotive Week in California next week.
Four new Q cars, based on the DB9 Volante, V12 Vantage S and Vanquish (Coupe and Volante) will be on display, featuring “the ultimate personalisation service”.
Of all the cars, perhaps the Volante is the most striking – silver with polished alloy wheels and pink interior, though there’s no mention of pink in the blurb below. What do you think?
“Inside, the DB9 adopts a blush pearl leather, Piano Ice Mocha facia and drawing inspiration from luxury furniture, a blanket stitch which runs the length of the central spine of the interior. As a final touch a pink Rhodachrosite stone is inlaid in the Q buckle badge strapped to the console.”
Director of Design, Marek Reichman said: “Our Q by Aston Martin personalisation service offers customers the ability to work closely with the Design team to create a very personal car, synthesizing individual visions with the considerable craftsmanship skills and expertise at our disposal.”
