The Project 7, the fastest and most powerful roadgoing Jaguar, is to go into limited production.
Jaguar Land Rover’s Special Operations team plans to build just 250 examples of the car.
The newest member of the F-Type family will be capable of 0-60mph in 3.8 seconds and an electronically-limited top speed of 186mph.
The Project 7 features a D-Type-inspired design, including an asymmetrical hump on the rear deck. Under the bonnet is a remapped 5.0-litre supercharged V8 producing 567bhp.
The car, which also features dozens of technical and design enhancements, has been named “Project 7” to acknowledges Jaguar’s seven historic Le Mans race wins.
