Rugged new addition to the Volkswagen Golf range to debut at Paris Motor Show.
Think of a Volkswagen Golf estate with jacked-up suspension and off-road looks and you’ve got the new Golf Alltrack.
The Alltrack also features VW’s 4MOTION all-wheel drive system and four engines including the 177bhp 1.8 TSI petrol engine and the flagship 181bhp 2.0 TDI which will be the most powerful Golf estate yet with a top speed of 136mph and a 0-62 time of 7.8 seconds.
Volkswagen claims the combination of 20mm higher ground clearance, “Offroad” driving profile and 4MOTION four-wheel drive system give the newest Golf Alltrack driving traits that are “typical of an SUV”.
The Volkswagen Golf Alltrack is expected to go on sale in the UK by summer 2015.
