New York City’s Park Avenue Tunnel was closed off to the public for the stunt.
The tunnel, which passes under seven blocks of the iconic Park Avenue area in Manhattan, provided a unique environment to experience the distinctive, harder edged sound delivered by the new Titanium and Inconel exhaust system.
Powered by a 5.0-litre supercharged V8, the SVR is the first fastest Jaguar F-Type ever with a top speed of 200mph.
Developed by Jaguar Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations, it’s designed to be lighter, quicker, faster and more powerful “while remaining tractable and useable day-to-day”.
