Rolls-Royce or Batmobile?

If you see this vehicle on the roads, it’s not a Gotham extra, but the Rolls-Royce Project Cullinan test mule for the luxury carmaker’s upcoming SUV.

The prototype rides on an early version of an all-new suspension that will assist engineers in developing a final all-wheel drive system that delivers Rolls-Royce’s hallmark “magic-carpet” ride not only on the road, but off-road too.

It’s not due to be launched until 2018, but it won’t be the only high-class, high-price off-roader – Maserati, Bentley and Aston Martin are also entering the all-important market.
