Yes, the 308 GTi goes on sale in the UK on November 5, so Peugeot came up with a unique car vs boat challenge.

Staged at the National Water Sports Centre in Nottingham, one of the first right hand drive GTi models was pitted against an F2 powerboat.

The 308 GTi was driven by Bradley Philpot, a Peugeot UK Brand Ambassador with its track cars, while the powerboat was piloted by Colin Jelf, an F2 champion.
