Heart-throb Eddie’s Maserati award

British actor Eddie Redmayne is presented with the exclusive ‘Maserati Award’ for Best Breakthrough Actor at the 32nd Turin Film Festival.

He was given a commemorative statue of Bologna’s Fountain of Neptune, the monument which inspired Mario Maserati to create the motoring icon’s famous Trident logo.

The heart-throb was awarded the accolade for his performance in The Theory of Everything, in which he takes on the role of the young Stephen Hawking.

As part of Maserati’s role as Main Sponsor of the Turin Film Festival, international stars enjoyed an exclusive Maserati chauffeur service.

Eddie Redmayne travelled in style in the luxurious flagship model – the Quattroporte GTS – equipped with a powerful V8 Twin Turbo 3.8 litre petrol engine with 530hp made by Ferrari exclusively for Maserati.
