New Bristol for 2015

Iconic British car manufacturer teases Project Pinnacle 70th anniversary car.

Bristol Cars has released the first image of Project Pinnacle, a hybrid car designed to celebrate the company’s 70th birthday in 2015.

The first new Bristol car since 2003 and codednamed Project Pinnacle, it will be a “modern take on the best of British craftsmanship and engineered to excite as a high performance Bristol car”.

Bristol Cars has been manufacturing luxury cars since 1945. In 2011, the original Bristol Cars Limited company and Bristol Cars Services Limited were bought out of administration by the Kamkorp group.

Frazer-Nash Research Limited, also part of the Kamkorp group of companies, which develops energy efficient electric and range-extended electric drivetrains and technologies, is a technology provider for Bristol Cars.

The company operates the landmark Bristol Cars showroom in London’s Kensington High Street and has its HQ in Surrey.

Famous Bristol cars of the past include the Type 401, 405 Drop Head Coupe, 407 Zagato, Beaufighter, Blenheim and, most recently, the Fighter (2004-11).
