Meet the Peugeot 108

Much-anticipated Peugeot 108 UK launch date and prices announced.

Peugeot has revealed its 108, sister car to the new Citroen C1 and Toyota Aygo, will cost from £8,245 when it goes on sale in early July.

Available in three and five-door, plus a cabrio with retractable fabric roof, the cute city car follows the personalisation trend with a range of colours, trims and themes.

The 108 will come with two fuel-efficient, low-emissions petrol engines, including Peugeot’s new PureTech three-cylinder unit. They are a 1.0-litre 68bhp with 95g/km of CO2 (88g/km with Stop and Start), or a 1.2-litre PureTech VTi 82bhp with 99g/km of CO2.

A five-speed manual transmission is mated to both engines, with the option of a 2-Tronic semi-automatic gearbox on the 1.0-litre.

Goodies onboard include a 7-inch touch-screen infotainment system with DAB digital radio, Mirror Screen with MirrorLink™ technology and Bluetooth connectivity for smartphones.
