Historic day for Mustang fans

For the first time, Ford UK has opened its order books for a Ford Mustang.

More than 50 years after the iconic car first went into production, a right hand drive version has finally been produced.

Equipped with a 2.3-litre EcoBoost engine or a 5.0-litre V8 engine, the new Ford Mustang fastback and convertible models are priced from £28,995.

That’s a lot of car for under 30 grand!

While the US is the largest market for the Mustang, with more than 9.2 million sales since the car’s debut in 1964, more than 161,000 Mustangs have been sold outside North America in that time.

The RHD version of the sixth-generation Mustang will also be sold in 25 other markets, including Australia and South Africa.
