Aston Martin is to revive the Lagonda brand for a limited edition luxury super saloon.
The first image of the car has been teased, however, it will be offered exclusively in the Middle East “as a result of specific market demand”.
The new car draws inspiration from the highly sought-after, distinctive William Towns-designed Lagonda of 1976, plus a touch of Aston Martin’s own four-door, the Rapide.
The Lagonda will be hand-built by Aston Martin craftsmen at Gaydon, Warwickshire, and could go on sale as soon 2015.
We suspect demand for the new Lagonda will be so high, Aston Martin may be tempted to launch the luxury saloon elsewhere in the world…
Lagonda was a British luxury car marque established in 1906 and bought by Aston Martin in 1947.
