Rugby stars tackle rugged Jeep Wrangler

Two Wales rugby internationals have taken delivery of tough new Jeep Wranglers.

Cardiff Blues and WRU tighthead prop, Dillon Lewis, and former WRU and current Worcester Warriors centre, Ashley Beck, both chose the iconic go-anywhere 4×4 as their daily drives, independently of one another.

Six-foot Dillon opted for the four-door Wrangler Night Eagle special edition finished in Granite Crystal, while 6’3” Neath-born Ashley picked a Wrangler Sahara four-door in Ocean Blue.

Both bought their Wranglers from Nathaniel Cars, which has dealerships in Bridgend and Cardiff, and is one of the newest retailers in Jeep’s UK network.

“The Jeep Wrangler’s such an iconic model and it really stands out, but it’s also got all the latest technology I was looking for,” said Dillon. “I’ve been like a kid at Christmas waiting for it to arrive at the dealership.”

Ashley added: “I absolutely love my new Wrangler – it’s perfect for all the country lanes around Worcestershire, but it’s definitely not just going to be something I use for my day-to-day driving. I can’t wait to get off road in it and to have some serious fun.”
