The popular Audi TT has topped a British drivers’ Christmas wish list.
According to data from CarGurus, the online automotive marketplace, searches for the the TT have more more than doubled in December compared to November.

Other vehicles registering the biggest increase in buyers’ searches during the festive season include SUVs and pick-ups, indicating that motorists are preparing for winter weather conditions.
The Audi TT, which has just celebrated its 20th anniversary, is available in coupe and roadster form, and examples are available from £1,500 on CarGurus.
The Mk2 replaced the original in 2006, and sportier TTS and TTRS versions were introduced. Prices for early second generation models currently available on CarGurus start from £4,500.
The current Mk3 version, revealed in 2014 with a bolder, more aggressive design, is available from £12,000.
