Jaguar Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) has revealed what’s claimed to be the “most powerful, agile and extreme performance Jaguar ever”.
The new XE SV Project 8 super saloon boasts a 5.0-litre V8 engine producing a massive 592bhp.
A thinly-disguised prototype version of the Project 8 has been undergoing its debut test at the gruelling Nürburgring Nordschleife.
It’s the second Collectors’ Edition vehicle from SVO, following the Jaguar F-Type Project 7 in 2014.
The monster XE will be hand-Built at SVO’s Technical Centre in Coventry (not alongside regular XEs in Solihull) and just 300 cars will be made.
