Bid for 007’s Aston Martin DB10

Your chance to own a unique Aston Martin DB10 – the first car created exclusively for James Bond.

Aston Martin is auctioning off one of the few DB10s at Christie’s in London on February 18 with proceeds going to Médecins Sans Frontières.

It is the only car to date in the rarest DB lineage to be made available for private ownership, but there’s a catch – it will be sold as a “collector’s item” because it was built to be driven in a controlled environment for filming.

The car is not homologated, certified or approved for use on any public roads and has not undergone the testing processes used for production cars, including crash and emissions testing.

Most of the DB10s were modified for use in Spectre, but the DB10 offered at Christie’s is one of only two “show” cars, which were left unmodified and used for display purposes.

The car took pride of place at the world premiere of Spectre at the Royal Albert Hall in London and has been signed by James Bond himself, Daniel Craig.

Coinciding with the release of Spectre on Digital HD, Blu-ray and DVD, the DB10 is a piece of automotive history.

Production of the car, which was developed and hand-built at Aston Martin’s Gaydon HQ for the latest Bond film, was strictly limited to 10 examples.

Featuring a 4.7-litre V8 petrol engine and six-speed manual gearbox, it has an estimated top speed of around 190 mph and the hammer is expected to drop at more than £1 million.
