One of our favourite shots of the historic on-track action that sums up the Goodwood Revival weekend

Thanks to Ford for letting us enjoy a memorable parade lap as a passenger is this original GT40 from the Ford heritage collection. Insured for £5 million, and one of only seven right-hand-drive roadgoing GT40s, it was used by  legendary Ford of Europe vice president Walter Hayes back in the 1970s.

Every little helps: as ever, Tesco were open all hours with their special period store… with Green Shield Stamps!
