Fifth Gear presenter Tiff Needell becomes an ambassador for this year’s Wilton Classic & Supercar show.
The racing driver, who is back on TV screens this month in Fifth Gear, will host the daily parade interview sessions with drivers and owners and will be on hand to talk to visitors.
“This is a great event in the motoring calendar and I’m thrilled to be involved this year,” said Tiff.
“It’s a great excuse to spend two days surrounded by some amazing cars and bikes from rare old classics through to the very latest supercar technology.”
He said the Wilton Classic & Supercar weekend with Castrol Edge provides the perfect backdrop to admire the cars, chat to drivers and find out more about all aspects of motoring.
More than 500 cars and bikes are expected to be on display over the two-day event on Saturday June 6 and Sunday June 7 with tickets now available online.
Saturday’s focus will be the classic car world with the supercars taking centre stage on the Sunday with interactive displays a feature throughout the whole weekend.
Lord Pembroke, who hosts the event at his home in Wiltshire, added: “Tiff is an ideal ambassador for the event and we are delighted he has agreed to be part of what is an amazing event for all motoring enthusiasts.
“His knowledge and enthusiasm is infectious and we’re looking forward to working closely with Tiff to ensure that this year’s event is better than ever.”
Held in the grounds of Wilton House, the ancestral home of the Earl of Pembroke, the Wilton Classic and Supercar Show celebrates its seventh year in 2015.
