Ariel Atom’s Nomad cousin

Somerset specialist Ariel Motor Company has launched a blisteringly fast off-roader called the Nomad.

Meet the Nomad – the dirty cousin of the track-day legend known as the Ariel Atom.

Lightweight, simple, fast and fun – the Nomad is an Ariel through and through.

Weighing in at just 670kg and powered by a 2.4-litre Honda VTEC engine tuned to produce 235bhp, it’s a beast.

The stats are ridiculous – 60mph comes up in just 3.4 seconds and it has a top speed of 136mph.

Tempted? The Ariel Nomad costs a basic £30,000.
