Jaguar F-TYPE Coupé launched

Chelsea manager José Mourinho was among the stars celebrating the official UK launch of the Jaguar F-TYPE Coupé.

During the event in London, the “Special One” (who’s also a Jaguar UK ambassador) was asked what he thought of the car – he smiled and said:  “How can this old man drive such a cool car?”

He added: “It drives like a great player because it does what I want it to do.”

Mourinho will also be the first customer to take delivery of the new F-TYPE Coupé in March.

Jaguar Land Rover UK Managing Director Jeremy Hicks said: “I am really excited to be officially presenting the new F-TYPE Coupé in the UK for the first time. This sports car is as important to the Jaguar brand as it is spectacular to drive.

“With the F-TYPE Coupé, our designers and engineers have created the ultimate expression of Jaguar DNA; beautiful design combined with immense dynamic performance.”

I drove the soft-top F-TYPE at the media launch in Italy last summer and it was a revelation – not just for its stunning looks, but also its handling, power and poise. The Coupé looks even better and by all accounts, it’s an even sweeter drive.
