Honda has launched an adrenaline-pumped video campaign to promote the launch of the awesome new Civic Type R.
Featuring an inspiring montage of adventure-style clips mixed with footage of the new Honda Civic Type R navigating the Nürburgring, the new film asks the viewer a series of questions, leading to ‘Are you Type R’?.
“The Civic Type R is an exciting and exhilarating car and we wanted to create a campaign that highlighted all the adventurous elements that make it great,” explained Fabrice Esteve of Honda Motor Europe.
“‘Are you Type R’ is the perfect up-tempo film to introduce the all-new Civic Type R to the European market.”
The film was created by Southpaw Agency, part of the Hakuhodo network and one of Honda’s creative agencies.
Southpaw’s Rob Goodall added: “With such an iconic car, it was imperative we captured the essence of the Type R whilst surprising and emotionally connecting the audience to the brand.
“Driving engagement and delivering the campaign through influencer content, digital and social experience has allowed us really tap in to this spirit and start connecting at an emotional and attitudinal level with the audience.”
