Geneva Cars by Colour

Pre-Geneva the guys at Carbuzz had a crazy, slightly far-fetched idea for an infographic, displaying every single car at the Motor Show, arranged by colour.

What better way of seeing  literally every car at the show in one image, but also find out what colours are on trend in 2011.

Interestingly, white came out on top, 28% of all the cars at the show were displayed in white. Somewhat predictably, this was followed by silver (19%) which topped the DuPont Popularity Survey last year as the number one colour at a global scale.

Surprising was the low number of  brown cars there were, since the colour seems to be having a bit of a resurgence, with only 24 of them on show this year.
The orange category is an interesting one, and not just because of the colour, but for the quality of cars in this category. Orange seems to be the colour  of choice for supercars and concept cars.

  1. Interesting idea! Orange is more of a “power” colour so it makes sense for the super cars and concept cars, but white as the most popular? C’mon!
